In the Beginning...
The Northern Dauphin Human Services Center officially opened on January 14, 2009, after years of planning by area residents and the Northern Dauphin Human Services Advisory Panel, with the direction and support of the Dauphin County Commissioners.
The center was designed to bring compassionate, competent care to the residents of Northern Dauphin County, in a confidential, conveniently located setting. The center reflects the county's commitment to deliver human services utilizing a strengths-based, integrated approach. Services are provided without regard to gender, race, religion, disability, national origin or ability to pay.
VALLEY STRONG: Growing safe, healthy and resilient children and families in Northern Dauphin. Community organizations, local school districts and Dauphin County Human Service agencies have come together to highlight the many strengths of the local communities. VALLEY STRONG provides an opportunity for community members and businesses to give back to their neighborhood, their town and Northern Dauphin.
