You have reached the Dauphin County Tax Assessment and Tax Claim Bureau website.  Due to the COVID-19 emergency, Dauphin County offices are closed to the public; however, these offices are available to answer your questions.  Please  call our office at (717) 780-6101 and leave a message including your name, call back number (even if you think we have it), and a brief message; someone will reply within 24 hours.  


All Tax Assessment and Tax Claim Bureau information continues to be available at the links below.

If you need to submit payments or document, there are two drop boxes outside our office main entrance.  One for Tax Claim Bureau payments, and the second (black box) is for Tax Assessment related documents, including plans and deeds for UPI certification.  If subdivision and/or land development plans for PIN numbers are being submitted but will not fit into the black box, deliver these documents to the security guard at our main entrance - with the appropriate department name to which these are to be delivered - as well as your contact information for further instructions.  The contents of these boxes will be reviewed weekly and processed as soon as possible.
