Magisterial District Reestablishment Plan for Dauphin County Now Open to Public Review and Comment
The Twelfth Judicial District of Pennsylvania – which encompasses Dauphin County – is announcing that its Decennial Magisterial District Reestablishment plan is now available for public inspection and comment.
In accordance with state law, each judicial district must reestablish the number of magisterial districts and their boundaries every 10 years.
The plan may be viewed at www.dauphincounty.org/mdj_reestablishment/index.php or at the Dauphin County Administration Building, 3rd Floor (Office of the Deputy Court Administrator), Harrisburg, Pa. 17101.
All public comments must be submitted in writing to the address above or via email to email@example.com by March 7, 2022.
The plan will be available for 30 days prior to submission to the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts.
The plan is composed through a comparative process considering caseload and workload data within the district, as well as against similar-sized counties.
