Phase One In-Person Inmate Visits to resume June 18, 2021

Phase One of the In-Person Inmate Visitation Program will resume at the Dauphin County Prison on June 18, 2021. The following criteria must be met in order for inmates to qualify for this non-contact visit:

  1. The inmate must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and be able to provide documentation proving their vaccination. 
  2. All visitors must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and must provide documentation at the time of each visit.
  3. No more than two visitors per inmate will be allowed in the visitation room. 
  4. Visitors must provide two (2) forms of identification and adhere to all rules for visitation to include the dress code.
  5. Visitors will be required to wear a mask at all times during their visit. 
  6. The visitation rooms will be cleaned between each block schedule. 
  7. Inmates are responsible for notifying their family members of the visitation schedule. 
  8. Visitors must show up 15 minutes prior to start of the visit. 
  9. Children are not required to be vaccinated, but must wear a mask during the visit. 
  10. There will be no more than (2) adults or (1) adult and (2) children allowed per inmate visit.  

The Dauphin County Prison will continue to provide video visitation options to those who are not vaccinated during Phase One of the reopening of visitation. 

The Dauphin County Prison will revisit any adjustments or a Phase Two of the visitation procedures on July 9, 2021
