Dauphin County Prison corrections officer suspended for offensive social media post

HARRISBURG, PA (May 31, 2020) – A Dauphin County Prison corrections officer has been suspended for posting a comment on PennLive’s Facebook page in regard to the rally in Harrisburg on Saturday, May 30.  

According to Corrections Director Brian Clark, the officer was immediately suspended pending the outcome of an investigation.

This inflammatory social media post and similar language will not be tolerated and is in violation of prison and county policy and core values.
