Real Estate Taxes
The Dauphin County Commissioners have passed a resolution that extends the face period on 2020 county and municipal real estate taxes through December 31, 2020. The face amount, as shown on the bill, is the amount that is due in April/ May. This resolution does not apply to school real estate taxes. Taxes that remain unpaid after December 31, 2020, will be subject to the maximum penalty permitted by law.

YOU MAY PAY YOUR REAL ESTATE TAXES ONLINE AT WWW.DAUPHINCOUNTY.ORG/PAYMENTS. PAYMENTS MADE ONLINE WILL RECEIVE IMMEDIATE CREDIT AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A RECEIPT VIA EMAIL. AT THIS TIME, THIS IS THE SAFEST AND FASTEST WAY TO MAKE YOUR PAYMENT. IF YOU ARE PAYING FOR MULTIPLE PROPERTIES TITLED IN THE SAME NAME, PLEASE ENTER YOUR LAST AND FIRST NAME IN THE SEARCH FIELD TO COMBINE ALL PROPERTIES INTO ONE "SHOPPING CART." THIS WILL INCUR ONLY ONE TRANSACTION FEE.

Tax certifications may be requested online using a credit card, debit card or eCheck. Services fees apply based on method of payment. To order a tax certification online, click here. Tax certifications will be returned via email within two business days.
Tax certifications are available for a fee of $10.00 per property per year. Please mail a completed Tax Certification Request form with a check or money order made payable to "Dauphin County Treasurer," along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope. You may also have a Tax Certification returned by fax or email. Allow a minimum of five business days for processing from time of receipt. The Dauphin County Treasurer’s Office will provide Tax Certifications for the City of Harrisburg, Susquehanna and Lower Swatara Townships and the boroughs of Millersburg, Pillow, Berrysburg, Gratz, Lykens and Penbrook.
