We know many of you are wondering when you can put that pink envelope in the mail. So here is Pennsylvania’s 2022-2023 hunting season antlerless deer license application schedule:
- July 11, 2022 –Residents
- July 18, 2022 –Nonresidents
- August 1, 2022 –Unsold, 1st Round
- August 15, 2022—Unsold, 2nd Round
Please note, hunters must purchase a 2022-23 general hunting license BEFORE applying for an antlerless license. All antlerless deer license applications must be mailed in the official pink envelopes to a county treasurer; applications are accepted by mail only until over-the-counter sales begin.

Active Duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces or U.S. Coast Guard who have been officially stationed and quartered in PA for a period of 30 consecutive days immediately preceding application for a license, may be issued a resident license. Military personnel who apply for a resident license or must produce their military identification card and proof of their active duty status and residency via:
- Official orders verifying residency status or home of record
- Pay stub verifying residency status or home of record
- Official Residency Certificate issued by their military branch
