The Dauphin County Area Agency on Aging is committed to assisting seniors and their families in obtaining needed services and information. Our Information and Assistance (I/A) Resource Center is your one stop shopping source for senior services and information. Accessing any of the services provided by our Agency begins with dialing 717-780-6130 and ASKING FOR INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE.
Northern Dauphin County residents can call our office located at the Northern Dauphin Human Services Center, 295 State Drive, Elizabethville, PA 17023. The Northern Dauphin office serves the upper part of Dauphin County, north of Peter’s Mountain. This office can be reached at 717-905-2508.
Our information specialists have a broad knowledge of the service network in the community and are waiting to help you solve your problem. If direct services from our Agency can’t help, we will refer you to the appropriate agency or service that will help you. If you would like assistance in person, call for an appointment. Our main office is located on the 3rd floor of the Dauphin County Administration Building, 2 South Second Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101.
In addition to providing Information and Assistance, our specialists can assist you with completing applications for benefit programs such as PACE, Property Tax/Rent Rebates, County Assistance Benefits and Fuel Assistance. The Information and Assistance Resource Center is available to anyone with questions.
