Biography

Magisterial District Judge George Zozos was born on July 22, 1951, the son of Tom and Eleftheria Zozos. He graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School in 1969. He attended Penn State Capitol Campus where he received a Bachelor of Social Science Degree. MDJ Zozos is a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Camp Hill where he served as a member of the church board from 1975 - 1978. He was elected to the Harrisburg School Board in 1975 and served until 1981. In 1982 George was elected as a Magisterial District Judge and is serving his fourth term. George is active with the United Cerebral Palsy of the Capital Area, is a member of the Order of the AHEPA, and is a member of the Special Court Judge's Association. George is married to the former Ginger Weaver of Harrisburg and they have two children, Stacie and Paul.

Magisterial District Judge Zozos is located in the newest Magisterial District Judge Office. It is 3000 square feet in size; and features separate areas for attorney conferences, prisoner holding and records storage. Construction was completed in 1998, at an approximate cost of $275,000.
