PA Hauler Permits

The Waste Transportation Safety Program (Act 90) was passed by the General Assembly and signed into law by Gov. Mark Schweiker on June 29, 2002. Act 90 requires all municipal and residual waste haulers using waste disposal and processing facilities in Pennsylvania to obtain written authorization to use those facilities from the Department of Environmental Protection by December 27, 2002. Act 90 prohibits vehicles without a valid Waste Hauler Authorization sticker from using Pennsylvania waste disposal and processing facilities after December 26th, 2002.
