Dauphin County is pleased to announce that the Recycling Center is officially open! Our ribbon-cutting service was April 17, 2009. We offer recycling of many different electronic products, as well as confidential paper shredding. Most recycling services are free to Dauphin County residents. For a complete list of recyclable items and fee schedule click the link below.

Regular hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The following Saturday's (same time of operation) in 2010:

- January 16 (*opened 3rd Saturday, due to the New Year Holiday) / 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- February 6 / 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- March 6 / 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- April 3 / 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- May 1 / 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- June 5 / 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- July 17 / 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (* opened 3rd Saturday, due to the July 4th Holiday)

- August 7 / 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- September 11 / 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (* opened 2nd Saturday, due to the Labor Day Holiday)

- October 2 / 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- November 6 / 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- December 4 / 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
