1.) What is the fee to attend the event and what is included in the cost of the weekend pass?
For $50 in advance/$60 at the door our guests enjoy THREE days of world class entertainment at Fort Hunter Park as well as free wine tasting from local PA Wineries. Guests receive a festival wine glass at the door. Each winery allows five samples as part of their tasting. We make our best effort to prepare for the number of guests that we have but if we do run out of glasses or you forget to bring your glass back on Sunday, we do have plastic glasses for your use. Children age 12 and under can come to the event for free as we encourage children of all ages to experience the wonderful entertainment that we have.
2.) Where can I purchase tickets? Is there a fee for online ticket sales?
Tickets can be purchased online by clicking on the Buy Tickets Now! button above. There is a nominal fee for charging your tickets to your credit card. This defrays the processing fee that we are charged. We make an effort to keep ticket prices as low as we can!
If you'd like to purchase your tickets in person, the following locations offer tickets:
Mr. Mike's Music
27 S. 3rd Street
Harrisburg, PA 17101
717-234-3181
Dauphin County Parks & Recreation Office - Tavern Building
100 Fort Hunter Road
Harrisburg, PA 17110
717-599-5188
3.) What should I bring with me?
We encourage guests to bring a blanket or chair to sit on. You are welcome to bring a small table with you as well. Picnic baskets are also welcomed. Tents are allowed but must be set up at the rear of the event so that the view of the stage is not blocked. We also allow coolers at the event, but please no outside alcohol including beer. We will check coolers and ID's at the door.
While we love dogs, we encourage you to leave them at home.
4.) What types of food/craft vendors are at the Festival?
We have a number of food vendors who offer lots of different types of food. From BBQ and sandwiches to different types of cheeses and homemade ice cream, we have a little bit of everything available.
A handful of great artisans and craft vendors will also be displaying their goods at our event. From paintings, jewelry, wine accessories and more - we have vendors of all types and sizes!
5.) What types of amenities do you have at the Festival?
Parking is available for all guests and is free of charge. Please look for all of the well marked signage. Our parking attendants will direct you where to park at Fort Hunter Park. We do have a number of handicap accessible parking spots available. If you need special assistance, please notify one of our parking attendants and they will be sure to assist you.
Restrooms are available both in the Barn as well as near the Covered Bridge.
ATM - An ATM is available and located inside the barn near the restrooms. Special thanks to Angus Enterprises for providing these to us.
Wine Check - If you are interested in purchasing a case of wine from one of our fine wineries, we will pick the case of wine up and keep it until you are ready to leave the event.
First Aid - We take the health and wellness of our guests seriously. An EMT is on-site during the event at all times. The EMT will be parked near the farm house.
Information Booth - If you'd like any information during your visit regarding upcoming events, where to eat, where to stay etc., please visit our helpful volunteers at the Information Booth.
Security - Security will be seen throughout the event to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.
6.) What happens if it rains?
The Jazz & Wine Festival is covered by a HUGE tent. Our event is rain or shine.
7.) We are traveling from outside of Harrisburg. What other resource can help me plan my trip?
