The Commissioners and the County's Multicultural Task Force Committee extend a warm invitation to a free, open air street festival celebrating cultural diversity in Dauphin County. The festival will offer national and local recording artists, ethnic foods, crafts, Kid's Corner and more. Bring your lawn chairs. Family Activities will be provided by the Dauphin County Drug & Alcohol Department.

Additional Questions

1.)    What is the cost to attend Cultural Fest?
FREE! There is no fee to attend this Dauphin County event in Downtown Harrisburg. No tickets are required to attend. Cultural Fest will feature live music and entertainment from national and local recording artists all for FREE!

2.)    What should I bring with me?
We encourage guests to bring a relaxing lawn chair to sit on as the stage is on Market St. No tents, coolers or alcohol are allowed at Cultural Fest. This is a family friendly event.

3.)    What types of food/craft vendors are at Cultural Fest?
We have a number of food vendors attending offering such delights as BBQ, hot dogs, crab cakes, kettle corn and other festival favorites. There is something to tempt everyone’s taste buds. A handful of craft vendors will also be displaying their goods at Cultural Fest. Choose from fashions, fashion accessories, jewelry and more.

4.)    What activities are there for children?
Dauphin County Human Services will be providing a variety of games and hands-on activities for children of all ages. Bring the entire family to join in the fun.

5.)    What happens if it rains?
Cultural Fest is held rain or shine.

6.)    Can we bring our dogs?
While we love dogs ourselves and think that they are part of the family, we ask that you leave your dogs at home for Cultural Fest.

7.)    We are traveling from outside of Harrisburg. What other resources can help me plan my evening at Cultural Fest? Please visit the Visit Hershey & Harrisburg for more fun happenings in the area.

8.)    What types of amenities do you have at Cultural Fest?
Port-a-Johns will be available behind the Dauphin County Administration Bldg.

ATM’s are available at various downtown banks. All within a block of the event. 

First Aid – an EMT is on-site during the entire event to take care of all of your health and wellness needs while attending Cultural Fest.

Information Booth – if you need information about where to eat, where to stay, etc, please visit our Information Booth.

Security will be seen throughout Cultural Fest to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

Parking is available downtown at parking garages and metered parking on downtown streets. Parking rates vary between meters and garages.
