Dauphin County is introducing LiveSafe, a mobile safety communications app, to allow our employees to get safety & security notifications and share important information. This application is a replacement for the AutoMessenger system that had be used in previous years. LiveSafe is available for Apple and Android smart phones and all you need to sign up is your employee email address. As the leading mobile safety communications platform, LiveSafe takes this to the next level by providing users the tool to do something. From sharing information on concerning behavior to reporting safety hazards, the LiveSafe platform delivers two-way, real-time interactions that include location-tagged text, calls, photos and videos; scalable mass notifications; relevant safety resources and peer-to-peer safety tools.
Use the employee resource links when feeling ill. We have access to doctors on call, where you can talk to a doctor online, anytime. Highmark Telemed uses real-time video conferences that allow you and your benefit eligible dependents to have face-to-face discussions with board-certified, state-licensed family physicians and dermatologists in a matter of minutes. We recommend using Internet Explorer (ensure pop ups are allowed). Connect to https://connect.dauphinc.org. Login using your County network login (you do not need @dauphinc.org). On the initial connection you will be asked to install the CheckPoint Deployment Agent. Click “install or allow”. Once installed you will be connected to the Dauphin County network. Once connected the CheckPoint screen displays various options based on your security level. If you wish to RDP to your desktop, and have proper permissions to do so, minimize the browser (DO NOT exit the browser or you will be disconnected). Remote Desktop to <desktop_name>.dauphinc.org or IP address. Log in with <username>@dauphinc.org and network password. You will then be successfully logged into your desktop.
