Dauphin County Social Services for Children & Youth is responsible for the management and delivery of a coordinated program of public social services to protect the health and safety of children & youth.
The services may be provided directly by the Agency or made available through purchase of service agreements with approved providers and/or referrals to other public and private community human service programs.
Services are provided either to the child and family in their own home or to the child and family while the child is in a substitute care placement setting. The Agency utilizes a comprehensive risk assessment tool in its delivery of services.
