Enjoy food trucks featuring pork and bacon delicacies, activities for the kids and toe tapping musical entertainment by Acoustic Stew, Mark DeRose Band, and The Jay Players. Take your picture with a life sized picture of Jim, Fort Hunter’s 1920’s era prizewinning pig while overlooking the scenic Susquehanna River. Kids 12 and under are free. Individual food samples can be purchased from each vendor - so bring your appetite and extra money!

Additional Questions about Swine & Dine:
1). What is the fee to attend the event and what is included in the cost of the ticket?
The cost of the one day event is $5. This will include access to a variety of food concessions serving an array of pork inspired products for a nominal charge. There will be pig inspired activities for kids and adults with a stage on the Fort Hunter Mansion porch for entertainment.
2). Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here. There is a nominal fee for charging your tickets to your credit card. This defrays the processing fee that we are charged. We make an effort to keep ticket prices as low as we can!

3). What should I bring with me?
We encourage guests to bring a blanket or chair to sit on for the stage performances.
4). What types of food vendors are at the Festival?
We have a number of food vendors who will offer lots of different types of food inspired by pork. Ranging from BBQ to sandwiches - our vendors will have some very creative dishes that are sure to satisfy your palate!
5). What types of amenities do you have at the Festival?
Parking is available for all guests and is free of charge. Please look for all the well marked signage. Our parking attendants will direct you where to park at Fort Hunter Park. We do have a number of handicap accessible parking spots available. If you need special assistance, please notify one of our parking attendant and they will be sure to assist you.
Restrooms are available on the Fort Hunter Mansion grounds.
ATM will be available and located inside the barn near the restrooms. Special thanks to Angus Enterprises for providing this year’s ATM’s.
First Aid – We take the health and wellness of our guests seriously. An EMT is on-site during the event at all times. The EMT will be parked near the Mansion.
Information Booth – If you would like any information during your visit regarding upcoming events, where to eat, where to stay etc., please visit our helpful volunteers at the Information Booth located near the entrance of Festival.
Security will be seen throughout the event to make sure your experience as enjoyable as possible.
6). What happens if it rains?
Our event is held rain or shine.
7). Can we bring our dogs?
While we LOVE dogs ourselves and think that they are part of the family, we ask that you leave pets at home during this event.
8). We are traveling from outside Harrisburg. What other resources can help me plan my trip?
