Dauphin County government offers a variety of full-time and part-time employment opportunities. Postings of current job openings throughout the County are available by selecting one of the categories listed below that most meets your needs.

Any persons wishing consideration for employment should submit an Employment Application to the Dauphin County Department of Human Resources. A Voluntary Self-Identification Affirmative Action/Program Review Data Sheet, which is used for government compliance purposes, is included with the employment application for completion and return but is not part of the employment application.

Please specify the posted position you are applying for as listed under Full Time Positions or Part Time Positions postings and list the corresponding posting requisition number. Please submit one application per posted position applying for. Guidelines for applying for Civil Services positions are different and information for doing so is provided in that posting.

Resumes may supplement an application but cannot be substituted for an application. PLEASE NOTE: Resumes submitted without an attached employment application or transfer application will be given no employment consideration and will be returned to the submitter by the Department of Human Resources for completion of an employment application or transfer application.
