Fiscal Technician
Children & Youth$15.70
Dauphin County Social Services for Children & Youth is currently accepting applications for the full-time, day shift position of Fiscal Technician.  An employee in this position will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to accounts payable processes for a large Children and Youth Agency.  These processes include reviewing invoices from all providers and vendors to assure they are accurate and also reflect that proper authorization procedures have been followed.  This individual will be responsible for assisting with the procedures related to the procurement of Title IV-E and TANF funding, as well as securing funding from third party revenue sources including Domestic Relations and Social Security. Also, the employee will need to have a knowledge and understanding of program policy and procedures, and be able to recommend fiscal procedures to implement Agency changes in response to state and federal regulations.  This is a union position.
 
Minimum Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:  One year as a Fiscal Assistant or three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices and graduation from high school; or one year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration.
 
Other Requirements:  A copy of either official or unofficial college transcript(s) along with a resume must be attached to the application.  A valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, a favorable criminal background check and favorable child abuse and FBI clearances are required.  Working non-traditional hours will at times be required.

Divorce Master
Court Administration$30.31
Dauphin County Court Administration is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Divorce Master.  An employee in this position will preside over record hearings and make recommendations to the court concerning divorce and alimony, including pre-trial matters, counsel fees and equitable distribution.  The Master is responsible for performing the functions of a Special Master in Divorce.  This position is governed by the Code of Judicial Conduct.  The main objective is to provide a resolution to cases prior to intervention by the Court of Common Pleas.  The Master often listens to complex testimony, such as competing business valuations as well as vocational experts, and has to make a recommendation to the court based upon the evidence presented.  Salary is commensurate with experience. 
 
Minimum Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:  Juris Doctor degree with six (6) years of family law experience.
Other Requirements:  Must be a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Administrative Assistant II

Dauphin County Court Administration is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Administrative Assistant II.  An employee in this position manages the office; assists the Court Administrator with scheduling of senior/Out-of-County judge, custody conferences and divorce masters hearings and conferences; computer and office equipment operations of the department to ensure quality and efficiency; assists in the preparation/facilitation of office policy; and assists in performance of various support and clerical functions.
 
Minimum Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:  Graduation from high school or an accredited equivalency program.  Three years of experience in a business setting; some supervision preferred; or, any acceptable combination of training and/or experience.  Favorable background check required.
