Prison$16.19
Dauphin County Prison is currently accepting applications for the full-time, varied shift position of Treatment Specialist I.   An employee in this position will provide casework and counseling services to Prison inmates (classified and unclassified; sentenced and unsentenced) on Prison premises.  He/she may work in concert on block with an associated Treatment Specialist II (whose duties he/she may appropriate or share as necessary, or as directed by proper authority), and reports to the Treatment Supervisor, Treatment Coordinator, or Deputy Warden for Treatment Services (as the last directs). This is a union position.
 
Minimum Education, Experience & Training Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in social sciences, psychology, education, or a related field; Counseling experience preferred.  A favorable criminal background check is required.

Prison$Salary is commensurate with experience
Dauphin County Prison is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Custody Major Investigator.  An employee in this position provides administrative, supervisory, and investigatory work in a correctional setting.  He/she also oversees all uniformed correctional staff at the prison; ensures implementation of and adherence to all operative policies, directives, and rules.  He/she collaborates with senior administrative staff as directed or necessary.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
 
Minimum Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:  Graduation from high school or an accredited equivalency program; plus ten years of experience as a uniformed correctional officer, to include three years as a captain or lieutenant in a jail/prison.  A favorable criminal background check is required.

Dauphin County Clerk of Courts is currently accepting applications for the full-time, day shift position of Teamsters Clerk III.  An employee in this position receives, records, routes, and/or files legal documents associated with trial records, failures to appear as ordered, and violations of probation and parole, observing applicable calendars, statutory deadlines, and Rules of Court; uploads cases from the magisterial district judge offices.  He/she reviews documents for completeness and canonical form, advising constituents of required changes, as appropriate.  The employee will also be required to perform office administrative duties including scanning, indexing, and document management; he/she will wait on the public, file criminal folders, answer phones and enter new cases.  This is a union position.

Dauphin County Conservation District is currently accepting applications for the full-time, day shift position of Agricultural Specialist.  An employee in this position will educate and assist the agricultural community in the area of farm conservation and nutrient management planning, ensuring members of the agricultural community understand the purpose and importance of implementing conservation practices that protect and enhance our soil and water resources.  He/she is responsible for promoting and administering farm management of water and soil resources; financial assistance programs; preparing and monitoring landowner contracts; reviewing and developing farm conservation plans.  Salary is commensurate with experience. 
 
Minimum Education, Experience and Training Requirements:  A Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, civil engineering or a related natural resource field is required, or an appropriate amount of practical related experience as required to develop a technical knowledge of this work.  1-2 years’ working experience in the field of public or private soil conservation is preferred but not required.  Computer training and a valid PA driver’s license are required.

Dauphin County Conservation District is currently accepting applications for the full-time, day shift position of Resource Conservationist.  An employee in this position is responsible for administering the Erosion and Sediment Pollution Control (ESPC) and the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting program for the discharge of stormwater associated with construction activities in accordance with the related delegation agreement with the PA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).  He/she reviews ESPC plans and related NPDES permit applications in a fair and equitable manner to determine adequacy of content in accordance with the program manual, checklist guidance documents and DEP training; conducts site inspections where earth disturbance is occurring to meet permit requirements and as needed to verify that construction is proceeding in conformance with approved plans; develops and conducts educational and informational programs for contractors, consultants, developers or municipal officials to keep them current in applicable aspects of program administration.  This position works extensively with conservation related programs and policies; persons and agencies involved in earthmoving activities including developers, project engineers, municipal officials, code enforcement officers, private landowners, farmers, construction workers, and personnel of conservation agencies.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
 
Minimum Education, Experience and Training Requirements:  A Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, engineering or a related natural resource field or such practical experience as required to develop a technical understanding of this work.  Experience in the preparation or reading of site plans and construction plans or the preparation of surveying documents is preferred.  Computer training and a valid PA driver’s license are required.
