​Application Process:  Current employees must complete a Transfer Application and attach their resume.  Non-County employees must complete a Dauphin County Application for Employment. Applicants must attach transcripts or other required documentation evidencing qualifications for the position. Applications may be obtained from and must be submitted to the Department of Human Resources.

Persons wishing to apply for a posted Dauphin County Prison position should complete an Application for Prison Employment and submit it to the Dauphin County Department of Human Resources.

While Dauphin County does not inquire into an individual’s criminal history at the time of application, with the exception of Prison positions, certain convictions may disqualify an individual from a position. For a listing of offenses that prohibit individuals from holding positions in certain departments, please see our Prohibited Offenses Listing. Individuals having convictions in these categories may wish to apply for positions with less restrictions.

An excellent Dauphin County (County) paid benefit package is available to all full-time employees the month following 60 days of employment. The County pays 100% of the premium for the following:

Domestic Relations $16.57
Dauphin County Domestic Relations Office is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Team Supervisor.  An employee in this position will be responsible for supervising a Team.  The employee assists and monitors the Team’s caseload to ensure the appropriate automated and manual actions are taken; coordinates court proceedings and schedules; analyzes, creates, and reviews data reports and utilizes all available management monitoring tools to improve performance measures.  He/she responds to operational and management problems, resolves complex issues with tact and professionalism, and demonstrates knowledge of the Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement System (PACSES) and the ability to explain and interpret the child/spousal support program.  In addition, he/she orients, instructs, and coaches new staff; presents in-house training; performs duties of staff as necessary; effectively recommends disciplines; and reports directly to the Operations Manager.
 
Minimum Qualifications:  Graduation from high school or an accredited equivalency program; a college degree is preferred.  At least three to five years of experience in a Domestic Relations office or a similar setting.  A favorable criminal background check is required.

MDJ P. Zozos$10.43
Magisterial District Judge P. Zozos is currently accepting applications for the full-time, day shift position of Legal Clerk.  An employee in this position is responsible for filing and maintenance of case records, substantial data entry, processing of traffic and non-traffic citations, scheduling of hearings, collection of and accounting for fines and costs payments, other typing and receiving and routing phone calls.  This is a union position. 
 
Minimum Education, Experience and Training Requirements:  Graduation from high school or an accredited equivalency program. Experience or education in data processing, bookkeeping, and/or secretarial science is preferred.  Computer knowledge is helpful.  A favorable criminal background check is required.
