I-Mobile uses cellular technology to quickly and securely share information between the Emergency Communications Center (ECC) and the field responder. Information entered into the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system by the telecommunicator is transmitted live-time to the Mobile Data Computer (MDC) located in the emergency response unit without having to make voice transmissions over the air. The same principles apply when field responders transmit data to the ECC.

I-Mobile also provides the field responder with an interactive map of Dauphin County.
