Detention Care
Client Admission Profile
- Adjudicated Delinquent, or pre-adjudicated delinquent males and females 10-18 years of age.
- All children are required to have a detention hearing within 72 hours of their initial detention. \All children who have committed crimes requiring detention according to the Juvenile Act (42Pa.C.S.Sec. 6301), with the exception of those with ineligible crimes identified in the Act (i.e. Murder, Robbery, Kidnapping, etc.) \AVERAGE LENGTH OF STAY: 15 DAYS (in 2004)
