Magisterial District Judge William C. Wenner

mdj_wenner Magisterial District Judge William (Bill) C. Wenner was born January 15, 1959 in Harrisburg. He graduated from the Susquehanna Township High School in 1977. MDJ Wenner is a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College. After college he became a police officer and served 23 years until his recent early retirement. He served with the Susquehanna Township Police Department and then joined the Dauphin County District Attorneys Office in 1998 as a Detective. He spent the last seven years as Chief of Detectives for the District Attorney's Office, Criminal Investigation Division (CID). While with CID he was the Coordinator for the Dauphin County Crisis Response Team. MDJ Wenner is a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy, 201st session. He also successfully completed two advanced executive leadership schools, one at Penn State University and the other at Princeton University. Bill is Municipal Police Instructor for the Police Academy at Harrisburg Area Community College. DJ Wenner is active in his church and local community. He is an assistant coach for the Central Dauphin Youth Cheerleading Association, Midget Squad.

Fast Fact
Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas Judge Rich Lewis administered the oath of office to MDJ Wenner. This was the second time that Judge Lewis administered an oath to Bill. The first oath occurred in 1988 when Bill became a detective with the DA's office under then District Attorney Rich Lewis.
