Amnesty Week Notice

One or both of the following enforcement remedies is currently pending against you for child support:
- A bench warrant has been issued for your arrest for your failure to appear for a scheduled court hearing or for your failure to comply with a contempt order issued by a Dauphin County Judge.
- Your Pennsylvania driver's license has been suspended for your failure to pay your arrears on your case.
An opportunity to vacate the bench warrant and/or reinstate your driver's license is being offered by the Dauphin County Domestic Relations Office during "Amnesty Week." This Amnesty Week Program APPLIES ONLY TO Dauphin County Domestic Relations bench warrants and Pennsylvania driver's license suspensions issued for your non-compliance of your support order. Thus, Amnesty Week does not apply to other types of bench warrants or driver's license suspensions and violations.
The Amnesty Week program will be offered September 15, 2008 to September 19, 2008, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
To participate in the Amnesty Week program, you must do the following:
- Appear at the Domestic Relations Office located at 25 South Front Street,
8th Floor, Harrisburg, PA 17101; - Make a payment on arrears;
- Make a payment plan for the balance owed;
- Execute a wage attachment or an automatic recurring withdraw (RAW);
- Provide medical documentation on any current medical conditions, if applicable.
If you fail to take advantage of this program, you may be arrested under the Domestic Relations bench warrant and/or incur further sanctions if caught driving with a suspended license.
