THE HONORABLE BRUCE F. BRATTON, Judge. Appointed to bench by then-governor Tom Ridge October 2001;
Elected November 2001. Born June 25, 1949, in Lewistown, PA. Graduate of Mount Union Area High School, 1967; Pennsylvania State University, with honors, 1973; and the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, 1976. Served in United States Army in the Republic of Vietnam, 1969-70. Associate attorney at Meyers & Desfor; partner at Connelly, Martsolf, Reid, Bratton & Spade; partner at Martsolf & Bratton-all in Harrisburg, PA. Member, Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 542; member, Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, F&AM. Currently serving as ARD judge, DCBA rules committee/bench-bar committee liaison, emergency custody/custody conference officer judge, back up to Orphans Court judge, and naturalization court judge.
