Adult Probation Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Work Release: 24 hours a day/7days a week

Offender supervision requires professional staff to conduct non-traditional contacts (at nights, on weekends) with offenders and the community. Many AP programs are models for other agencies. The Harrisburg Police/Probation Program, where probation officers team up with police to ride together and supervise offenders, has been a major success for both departments. The Intensive Drug Program is the best in the Commonwealth.

Another major function of the department is the collection of Court-ordered money.

Director Potteiger is dedicated to the community and to issues that will benefit the citizens of Dauphin County. He is active in Community Service Programs and non-profit organizations that seek to make Dauphin County a better place.
