MINUTES

Ms. Sinner: Two Salary Board requests, the one for the Prison is eliminating an interim fill Treatment Specialist I position and then I added an addendum to create a Workers' Comp-Modified Duty Worker position for a Schaffner employee that is going to be working modified duty in Security.

Mr. Hartwick: Will that one be changed when they are able to return to full duty?

Ms. Sinner: When he can return to his Youth Program Specialist I position this workers comp position will be abolished.

Mr. Haste: That is the way it is with this interim position. If you remember we had a Treatment Specialist that had some personal problems and we had to hold the position but we still had to fill it and the person has now resigned. We are able to move the person who was in the temporary position into that spot and eliminate the temporary.

Is there a motion to approve the Salary Board items?

It was moved by Mr. Hartwick and seconded by Mr. DiFrancesco to approve Salary Board items A & B. All were in favor. Motion carries.

1. Dauphin County Prison
   1. Eliminate a full-time Treatment Specialist I Interim position, range 6634, salary $15.72 p/h, effective August 11, 2006.
2. Schaffner Youth Center
   1. Create a full-time Workers' Comp - Modified Duty Worker position, range 9002, Step 06, Grade 02, salary $10.74 p/h, effective August 18, 2006.
